Infants. Toddlers. Early Preschool.

Ages from 8 weeks to 3.5 years old

Infants

Everything in our nurturing infant rooms is designed to support each baby’s unique growth and development. Offering more than just daycare, babies thrive in our loving and secure environment. We offer a high level of personalized care by choosing to intentionally keep a lower than the state-required child-to-teacher ratio. Our dedicated teachers in these well-staffed, 1:3 ratio classrooms create a place where children feel safe, loved, and ready to discover their world.

We encourage early foundational patterns for learning and more time for group play by creating a connection to a collective schedule. We work closely with parents as each child’s skills develop, helping them reach important social, emotional, and physical milestones. As the children individually reach these milestones, they are ready to be promoted to the next classroom. Our goal is to promote based on skills and development to ensure children thrive in their classroom.

Toddlers

LIONS & LAMBS 12 - 24 months

We encourage positive learning experiences as we introduce enhanced classroom activities and curriculum to prepare the children for success in future classes. Children discover their interests as we introduce simple arts and crafts, music and table time. We provide nurturing guidance as children develop cognitive, motor, and language skills.

Our space is divided into two classrooms, one for those who are learning to walk and one for those ready for room to run. Both classes have outdoor play areas that allow plenty of room to move and explore. Our play based academic environment integrates Bible stories and values into daily learning. Children begin to engage in more social interactions and friendships begin to develop as they learn more social skills like sharing and taking turns.  We offer parents the opportunity to reinforce and contribute to what the children are learning in the classroom through our monthly curriculum calendars.

  • "Each morning they ask us, “how’s his morning,” “how was his evening,” and overall “how are you as the parents doing.” At the end of the day it’s about the children but with them it doesn’t stop there. It’s about the Sonshine Family as a whole and how are their families doing."
