What ages do you accept?
We accept children ages 6 weeks to 12 years.

What are your hours?
We open at 6:30 AM and close at 6:00 PM.

What are the ratios of teachers to children?
Infant rooms: 1 teacher to 4 children. Toddler & One Year Old rooms: 1 teacher to 5 children. Two Year Old room: 1 teacher to 7 children. Three Year Old room: 1 teacher to 10 children. Four & Five Year Old rooms: 1 teacher to 12 children.

How many children are in each class?
Infant Room: 10 Toddler & One Year Old Room: 20 (10 in each class) Two Year Old Room: 26 (13 in each group) Three, Four & Five Year Old Rooms: 24

Do you serve lunch and snacks?
A full-day schedule includes a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack. A morning part-time schedule includes a morning snack. An afternoon part-time schedule includes lunch and an afternoon snack.

What is the minimum schedule a child may attend?
A minimum of 2 days, part-time or full-time.

Do you accept rotating schedules?
No.

Are you open year-round?
Yes.

Do you offer a discount for families with more than one child attending?
Yes, you will receive a 10% discount on your bill when more than one child is enrolled.

Do you offer any programs for elementary-aged children in the summer?
Yes, we offer our Summer Fun Program for kindergarten-7th grade in the summer. This class is limited and we will start taking enrollment in late April or early May.

Do you offer after-school care?
Yes, for Faith Christian Academy students only. This program is available to students kindergarten to 5th grade.

What security measures are taken to ensure the safety of my child?
Sonshine Center is fully committed to the safety of your children from drop-off to pick-up each day. Security best-practices are observed and our facilities are protected with electronic access.

  • Our Main Center is equipped with a keypad and code that is changed periodically. The security door is the only access to our classrooms.
  • Our Infant Center is equipped with a magnetic key system. Keys are given to parents when they enroll their child. The only way in or out of these classrooms is through these doors.
